Measure twice, cut once

Thankfully, our trim carpenters follow that rule! We've been so impressed with their work thus far - as the pictures show. We said "Old Fashioned" and "Craftsman" and they ran with it. Doors, windows, railings, columns, fireplaces --- little details everywhere, with huge impact. We can't even begin to describe how much we love it.

Otherwise, we are nearing the end - and we are becoming more anxious to move in. Who knows when that will be, but we're hoping to have Thanksgiving dinner in our dining room. We'll see!

The octagon windows. No cage fighting, though. Too much glass might invite injuries.

Living room fireplace. Note the place for the TV above. The perfect place to watch MMA cagefighting.

The Master bathroom. The bathtub will be right in front of these windows... a nice place to relax. Maybe with a glass of wine.
